The pace of play today allows for extra time to take a look at the next "standout" event on the February Tournament Calendar, which takes place later this week. The $250 No Limit Hold'em Single Ante returns on Wednesday (February 7th), and boasts a $30,000 guaranteed prize pool. The "single-ante" format is becoming more popular with the players, each and every time they have an opportunity to play it. The play moves much quicker throughout the event, it keeps from any "missed ante" scenarios (which we saw during one of the opening flights of this tournament, and it offers an interesting dynamic later in the tournament.
There are two other single-ante events on this month's schedule, including the $2,500 No Limit Hold'em Single-Ante on February 23rd, and a $175 No Limit Hold'em Single-Ante on February 27th (6:00pm).
