Tuesday, March 20th: Lambrecht And Magnetta Earn Trophy Wins, As Another Big To Leads Up To Battles Championship Event

ICYMI: Yesterday's Battles At The Beach scheduled with started one of the series' top events, as players began showing up at 11:00am for Event #10, a $560 No Limit Hold'em Single-Ante tournament ($50,000 guaranteed prize pool).  Outside of the twelve players to have won seats into the event (from the Event #1 chip lead bonus), the field would be comprised of another (99) entries (for 111 total in the tournament).  The prize pool would eclipse the posted guarantee, official closing at $55,500, and boasting a schedule first place prize of $16,648.  Once registration close, the tournament was all about pace...and things moving very slowly.  The incredible structure offered for some of the deepest play of the entries series, and after close to tweet full levels (of thirty minutes each), the event would reach the money.  Matthew Lambrecht (Stuart, FL) would eventually chop the event head-up with David Oshry, with a lot of new names grabbing a cash in the prestigious event.  The full results from Event #10 are listed below:

As the $560 NLH Single-Ante was in it's middle stages, the Event #11 action started up, a $100 No Limit Hold'em event with a $15,000 guaranteed prize pool.  After eight levels of open registration, the field would close with (240) entries, and a prize pool of $18,720.  A total of (29) players would reach the money in the event, with numerous notables notching cashes for their resume.  Some players to cash short of the final table included Scott Jaffa (29th place), Karin Powsner (23rd place), Lisa Teebagy (22nd place), Michael Mazzei (14th place), and Steve Bukowski (12th place).  The tournament would end just like the event that came before it (in a heads-up) chop, with John Magnetta (Boynton Beach, FL) adding another Isle Poker trophy to his mantle.  It was all about the "chip and a chair story," as Magnetta was left with 1,200 units after registration was closed (after losing a big pot to Kenny Hambert), but spun it back up to a tournament win.  Results from the Event #11 final table are listed below:
