Tom Gity (Pompano Beach, FL) has been playing some great tournament poker as of late, and hopes to continue that trend on his trip to Las Vegas (for the WSOP Main Event).

Tom Gity (Pompano Beach, FL) had himself over 500,000 chips, but then ran into the hurricane that has been John Magnetta.  Gity first doubled up Magnetta, as his A♠ K♠ fell to John's K K, which left Tom with just over ten big blinds.  Then, just moments ago, Tom would shove from early position (for 179,000).  Raminder Singh would lay down his hand, and Magnetta would flat, eliciting folds from the blinds:

Gity: A♠ 10
Magnetta: A J

Runout: J♠ 10♣ 9♣ 4♠ 3♣

Gity was in bad shape when the cards were tabled, and couldn't find a comeback through the runout.  He would complete yet another deep run, collecting $1,455 for his twelfth place finish.  The field is now on the final table bubble, as players have just over a full level until the next break.
