FSPC Event #14 (Day 1C): After An Unsuccessful First Attempt, Vanessa Rousso Looks To Lock Up A Different Result

2018 Florida State Poker Championship
Event #14 | $1,500 No Limit Hold'em ($500,000 GTD)
Level 9 (Blinds 500/1,000/1,000)
Total Day 1C Entries: 170
Day 1C Players Remaining: 71

It's been a long two days for Vanessa Rousso, but after what she went through to prepare for the Florida Bar Exam, this is paradise.

After arriving during Level 1 yesterday afternoon (just a day removed from taking the Florida Bar Exam), Vanessa Rousso would end up spending more than ten hours in the field, before getting eliminated during the second to last level (Level 11).  It would then be a quick turnaround for Rousso, who had to be back to the poker room at 12:30pm this afternoon, for her hour-long "meet and greet."  She'd then jump into today's Day 1C, and after a similar start to yesterday, she's now continued the trend in the right direction.  Vanessa sits with a stack of 160,000, which means that barring some really unfortunate circumstances, we should see her bagging up some chips (with just three levels remaining in the night).

Vanessa has had a sizable rail (both live and on the Twitter-verse) following her progress throughout the day, and they will be very happy to see their "hero" move on to Monday's Day 2.

Vanessa Rousso - 160,000 (160bb)
