FSPC Event #14 (Day 3): Quick Start To Day 3, Raj Vohra Eliminated In 18th Place ($8,033)

2018 Florida State Poker Championship
Event #14 | $1,500 No Limit Hold'em ($500,000 GTD)
Level 22 (Blinds 10,000/20,000/20,000)
Total Event #14 Entries: 564
Event #14 Players Remaining: 17

Raj Vohra's (Lake Worth, FL) day ends abruptly, but he can look back at the series as a great success, taking down Event #9, and reaching Day 3 of this main event.

Just three hands into the day, Raj Vohra would open from under-the-gun, with action folding around to Seth Gilson.  Gilson would look up at the dealer, before announcing himself all-in, with the remaining players folding behind.  Vohra quickly pushed all of his chips forward with both hands, and the cards would be tabled:

Vohra: A♣ K♣
Gilson: K K

Runout: 3♣ 3♠ 7♣ 8 7♠

Vohra, who returned with the third shortest stack, was not going to raise-fold those holdings.  He needed some help via the runout, which would not amount, leaving the Event #9 winner heading to the payout podium.  Vohra earns $8,033 for his 18th place finish, and caps off a incredibly successful series.

Seth Gilson chips up to 920,000, and is just below the current chip average of 995,000.
