Sunday, August 5th: Day 2 Players Return for "CPPT Warmup," As We Crown August's First Multi Winner

ICYMI: Saturday's tournament schedule hosted the final pair of flights for the "CPPT Warmup," a $100 No Limit Hold'em ($30,000 GTD).  After six flights with entries all under the century mark, yesterday's pair both eclipsed said mark, with a combined total of (237) between the two.  Flight 1G saw registration close with (104) entries, of which (11) players bagged chips.  The final flight (Flight 1H) drew the largest numbers, with a total of (133) entries, and (14) players bagging chips for today's Day 2.  A full list of Day 2 seating assignments (listed by chip counts) can be found by clicking here.

The final numbers for the month's first multi, see the "CPPT Warmup" attracting a total of (568) entries, of which (61) players successfully reached Day 2.  The official prize pool closed at $40,896, with (55) players reaching the money, and first place scheduled to take home $8,251.

Tournaments: Today's schedule sees the (61) "CPPT Warmup" ($100 No Limit Hold'em $30,000 GTD) returning at 12:00pm (for Day 2).  The structure will stay the same through the conclusion of the event, with levels lasting (20) minutes.  Day 2 play will resume with 9:49 minutes remaining in Level 13, which is the point that Flight 1C stopped (after reaching the 10% mark).

The recurring tournament schedule resumes later this evening (6:00pm), with the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Turbo Bounty" ($5,000 GTD).  The tournament is structured with 20,000 unit starting stacks, and levels that last (15) minutes.  Registration for the event is open through Level 10.

Promotions: From 10:00am-12:00am (midnight), players have the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes.  During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.  From 12:00am-3:00am, players are eligible for $100 high hands every hour.

It should also be noted, players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand!!!  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).

- Players start with 14,000 in tournament chips
- Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
- Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
- Levels will last (20) minutes
- Players to bag chips from any of the starting flights, will return Sunday (August 5th) at 12:00pm

6:00pm - $130 No Limit Hold'em "Turbo Bounty" ($5,000 GTD)

- Players will begin with a 20,000 starting stack
- Late and re-entries for the first (10) levels
- Levels are (15) minutes in length
- Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
