Monday, March 25th: Day 2 Of The Battles At The Beach (Event #2) Headlines Monday's Schedule

ICYMI: Sunday's schedule hosted the final pair of Event #2 ($360 No Limit Hold'em $100,000 GTD) flights, which happened to attract the largest fields of the tournament.  Flight 1G ended up with  (75) total entries, of which (10) players bagged chips for Day 2.  Augusto Cavazzini bagged the flight's chip lead (with 244,000), with the full list of Flight 1G chip counts listed below:

The final flight of the tournament (Flight 1F) saw registration close with (74) entries, of which (8) players bagged chips for today's Day 2.  Pinchas Chakchokov bagged the flight's chip lead (489,500), with the full list of Flight 1H chip counts listed below:

After eight completed flights, Event #2 of the Battles At The Beach officially closed with (438) entries, and a prize pool of $133,590.  (52) players will be returning at 12:00pm for Day 2, ready to battles it out for their share of the payouts, with all eyes on the $28,725 first place prize.

Tournaments: Monday's tournament schedule begins at 11:00am, with a $90 No Limit Hold'em Satellite into Event #3 ($360 No Limit Hold'em $25,000 GTD).  The satellite is structured with 10,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and open registration through Level 8.  This satellite offers (5) guaranteed seats into this evening's tournament.

As mentioned above, (52) players will be returning to action at 12:00pm, for Day 2 of Event #2 ($360 No Limit Hold'em $100,000 GTD).

Event #3 begins at 4:00pm, and is a $360 No Limit Hold'em ($25,000 GTD).  The tournament is structured with 20,000 unit starting stacks, (30) minute levels, and has registration that is open through Level 8.

Promotions: The high hands will run from 9:00am-12:00am, with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes.  During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.  

It should also be noted that players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand.  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).

There is an addition to the day's promotions, with the "Twilight Full House" promo beginning at 6:00pm.  The first (25) full houses made (after 6:00pm), that are tens full or better, will be awarded up to $100 (dependent on which game is being played).  A full list of payouts for each game are posted in the poker room (with the promo's official flyer to be posted here on the blog shortly).

From 12:00am-3:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
