ICYMI: At 1:00pm yesterday afternoon, five players returned to action (Day 3), for Event #2 of the 2019 Florida State Poker Championships ($130 No Limit Hold'em $100,000 GTD).  With no chop agreements the night prior, it was clear that players wanted to see this tournament out (to an outright winner).  After the eliminations of Nigel Murray, Sara Azmi, and Francis Margaglione...Paul Smerdon and Darroll Sayles would find themselves heads-up for the title.  Smerdon ended up besting Sayles after a short battle, earning his first ever major tournament title win, and a career best score ($31,600).  Official Day 3 results are listed below, with full results to be posted this afternoon:

There were three satellites on yesterday's schedule, including a $340 No Limit Hold'em Mega-Satellite, into the FSPC $1,500 Main Event ($300,000 GTD).  The satellite, which had a (10) seat guarantee, ended up awarding a total of (22) seats (after attracting 113 entries).  There were also two $65 NLH Step-Satellites into today's $520 FSPC "High Roller" satellite, with three combined seats awarded.

Tournaments: As mentioned above, today's tournament schedule begins at 10:00am, with a $520 No Limit Hold'em Satellite into Event #3 of the FSPC ($5,000 No Limit Hold'em "High Roller").  The satellite is structured with 15,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.

At 1:00pm, Event #3 of the FSPC ($5,000 No Limit Hold'em "High Roller") begins, and is expected to attract some big names.  The tournament is structured with 100,000 unit starting stacks, (40) minute levels, and has registration open through Level 8.  This is one of the top structures during the series, offering up super-deep play throughout.

With tomorrow's headlining event ($1,650 No Limit Hold'em "Purple Chip Bounty") being an attractive one, tonight's 6:00pm time slot hosts a $340 No Limit Hold'em Satellite (guaranteeing three seats into the event).  The satellite is structured with 15,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration through Level 8.

Promotions: Things begin with the "Full House Promo," which opens the doors seven day a week!!!  The proceedings begin once the doors of the poker room open, with the first (25) full houses made, earning a $50 prize.  Each jackpot eligible cash game is included in the promotion, with two rules to keep in mind, when thinking about winning the $50.  In order to be eligible, the full house must be made using two cards, and must be the winning hand.

The "standard" high hands will be awarding $150 every (20) minutes (from 9:00am-12:00am).  Every jackpot game is eligible for the same amount, with the full $150 being rewarded, regardless of one or two cards being used to make the high hand.  For those players in tournaments, two-card high hands are worth $100, with one-card high hands walking away with $50.
