Tuesday, October 1st: Eduardo Christ Tops Four-Way Chop Of "Chip Buster," Preparing For Isle Open, And New October Promotions!!

ICYMI: At 12:00pm yesterday afternoon, (117) players returned for Day 2 of the $175 No Limit Hold'em "Chip Buster" ($100,000 GTD).  From that number, (80) would reach the money, with the bubble bursting just a few hours into play.  Action continued through the final table, eventually pausing after the elimination of Simon Phillip (in fifth place).  After Phillip exited the tournament area, players took a look at the ICM numbers, and agreed to a deal.  Eduardo Christ took home first place money in the chop ($18,176), with the final table results listed below:

Following Day 2, there was a $60 No Limit Hold'em event, which boasted a $1,200 guaranteed prize pool.  Registration for the tournament closed with (16) entries in the field, and an official prize pool of $1,592 (after optional $40 re-buys were included).  Three players were scheduled to get paid, but a five-way deal was agreed to (prior to the money bubble), with official results listed below:

Tournaments: With the 2019 Isle Open beginning tomorrow (October 2nd), today's tournament schedule hosts two satellites into the opening event.  Event #1 of the series is a $400 No Limit Hold'em ($100,000 GTD).  Today's satellites run at 11:00am and 6:00pm, and are $90 No Limit Hold'em satellites.  The satellites have (3) seats guaranteed.

Promotions: Things begin with the "Full House Promo," which will open the doors on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in October).  The proceedings begin once the doors of the poker room open, with the first (25) full houses made, earning a $50 prize.  Each jackpot eligible cash game is included in the promotion, with two rules to keep in mind, when thinking about winning the $50.  In order to be eligible, the full house must be made using two cards, and must be the winning hand.

The "standard" high hands will be awarding $300 every (30) minutes (from 9:00am-12:00am).  Every jackpot game is eligible for the same amount, with the full $150 being rewarded to those that use one card to make the high hand.  For those players in tournaments, high hands are worth $100.

From 12:00am-3:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
