Monday, December 21st: "Monster Stack" Lives Up To Its Name, As We Look Forward To Another Great Week Of Poker Action

ICYMI: We talk about the success of these weekend tournaments on a consistent basis, as they continue to impress with their incredible turnouts.  Sunday's $130 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack" had a guarantee added to it just a few weeks ago, which has helped the numbers significantly.  Yesterday's installment attracted a total of (67) entries, which equated to a bloated prize pool of $6,700.  Of those entries, (9) players would earn a share of the prize pool, with the event's official results listed below:
  1. Joseph Duchman (Miami Beach, FL) $1,602
  2. Joseph Kearns (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $1,291
  3. Daniel Genachte (Deerfield Beach, FL) $1,133
  4. Arie Ben-Mayor (Parkland, FL) $1,065
  5. John Young (Pompano Beach, FL) $452
  6. David Poces (Boca Raton, FL) $352
  7. Craig Caffro (Pompano Beach, FL) $302
  8. Sal Accardi (Pompano Beach, FL) $268
  9. Paul Diaz (Miami, FL) $235
Tournaments: That's a wrap for the "weekend swing," with tournament players looking ahead to this Friday (as that's the next event on the schedule).  With two weeks left in the year, there is a lot of talk of what January's tournament schedule will look like (many beleive we will see the return of weekday/weeknight tournaments).

Promotions: Monday's could seem like a drag to some, but the Isle Poker Room is trying to make things a little "richer."  Players can look forward to $100 high hands from 11:00am-2:00pm, awarded every (30) minutes. At 2:00pm, the money awarded grows, with $300 high hands every (30) minutes, up until 10:00pm (at which point things revert back to $100).
