ICYMI: Sunday's $400 No Limit Hold'em "Final Table Finish" ($50,000 GTD) made it's first two appearances on the tournament calendar, but it's likely we will see the event finding a permanent home moving forward. After last week's impressive turnout, the numbers reached even new heights, with registration for the tournament closing with a total of (255) entries. The $87,465 prize pool was scheduled to be paid out across the top nine spots, meaning first place was scheduled to take home over $30,000!!!! Action would play down to a heads-up final table, with two local tournament veterans agreeing to a deal. Jeffrey Silverstein and Marc Levy each walked away with at least $25,000, along with over 70.00 leaderboard points each (making this event even more of a can't miss). Official results from the event are listed below, along with an updated Player of the Month leaderboard:
- Jeffrey Silverstein (Delray Beach, FL) $25,728
- Marc Levy (Lake Worth, FL) $25,000
- Jennifer Aguilar (Cooper City, FL) $8,747
- Tuần Nguyễn (Naples, FL) $6,123
- Richard Ganesh (Port St. Lucie, FL) $6,123
- Woody Bonarto (Sunrise, FL) $4,373
- Carlos Rodriguez (Miami, FL) $4,373
- Brian Krinsky (Boca Raton, FL) $3,499
- Simone Rosario (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $3,499
Tournaments: At 5:00pm this evening, the $250 No Limit Hold'em ($20,000 GTD)s "Final Table Finish" returns, with a little wrinkle. This particular tournament had such a good structure, that the final table action ran into the closing time of the poker room (players are then faced with chopping, or bagging for a Day 2). To keep that from occurring, there will be some slight changes moving forward.
