Sunday, July 17th: Andrew Kern Distancing Himself On Leaderboard, Today's Schedule Headlined By $400 No Limit Hold'em ($50,000 GTD)!!!

ICYMI: Saturday's $130 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) got off to a strong start, and by the time the registration window closed, the field would reach a total of (85) entries.  The $8,500 prize pool was scheduled to b spread across the top (11) spots, with action playing through the money bubble, and down to a five-handed final table.  The agreed upon chop that ended the tournament would see Andrew Kern (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) take home first place money, and leaderboard points that assisted in his distancing himself from second place competition.  Official results from the tournament are listed below, along with an updated Player of the Month leaderboard:

Tournaments: This afternoon's tournament is getting a little upgrade, as we see the return of a guaranteed prize pool, in addition to the "final table finish" format.  The $400 No Limit Hold'em ($50,000 GTD) event gets underway at 3:00pm, and is structured with 30,000 chip starting stacks.  Levels will last (30) minutes throughout the entirety of the event, with registration open through Level 8 (and the break that follows).  As mentioned, the "final table finish" is in place, meaning that regardless of where the prize pool closes, it will be paid out to only the top nine spots (those that make the final table).  There is a $20,000 guaranteed first place prize, which is sure to attract a special crowd (so get there early)!!!

Promotions: From 10:00am (the minute the doors open) until 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10).  From 11:00pm until close, $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.
