Saturday, March 2nd: Moret-Rojas and Transue Bag Chips Leads From Opening Pair Of Flights, As $140 No Limit Hold'em ($50,000 GTD) Continues On Today

ICYMI: Yesterday's tournament schedule was headlined by the the opening pair of flights for the $140 No Limit Hold'em ($50,000 GTD).  Flight 1A, which started at 11:00am, ended up attracted a total of (43) entries.  After finishing the scheduled sixteen levels of play, (4) players would remain at the bagging process, with Rodney Moret-Rojas leading the way.  The official counts from that opening flight are listed below:

ICYMI: The final day of February saw a tournament schedule that kicked off with a $130 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack" ($1,500 GTD).  After eight levels of open registration, the field would close with (19) entries, and an official prize pool of $1,843.  Three players were scheduled to reach the money, but when action was on the money bubble (four players remaining), a deal was agreed to. ICYMI: Wednesday's tournament slate kicked off with the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Survivor," which has quickly become one of the most popular recurring tournaments.  Yesterday's installment saw registration close with (28) entries in the field, and an official prize pool of $2,800.  That number meant that three players were scheduled reach the money, with two $1,000 spots to be awarded, and a third place spot scheduled to walk away with $800.  Those payouts were eventually altered, as the event ended in a five-way deal, with the official results listed below:

Saturday, February 23rd: Seniors Headline The Afternoon Action, Along With A $2,500 Guaranteed Nightly

ICYMI: Friday's tournament action began with the $75 No Limit Hold'em "Survivor" ($1,000 GTD), which continues to be a great success.  Yesterday's installment saw registration close with a total of (43) entries, and an official prize pool of $2,150.  Five total spots were scheduled to get paid (four $500 winners, and a $150 winner), and while the number of people stayed the same, the actual payouts were altered (in a chop that was agreed to):

Tournaments: Saturday's tournament schedule begins at 11:00am, with a $130 No Limit Hold'em "Seniors 50+" event.  The event is structured with 15,000 unit starting stacks, (25) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8. 
Following the afternoon event (at 6:00pm), is a $150 No Limit Hold'em ($2,500 GTD) tournament.  The event is structured with 20,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8. 

Promotions: The high hands will run from 9:00am-12:00am, with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes.  During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.  

It should also be noted that players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand.  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).

From 12:00am-9:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.

Friday, February 22nd: Another Action-Packed Weekend Of Poker At Pompano Park

ICYMI: Thursday's tournament schedule hosted two recurring "classics," beginning with the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack."  The event ended up attracting (15) entries, and saw registration close with an official prize pool of $1,455.  Two spots were scheduled to get paid, but players ended up agreeing to a deal (short of the money), with the official results listed below:

The evening tournament (6:00pm) is an $80 No Limit Hold'em event, which carries a $3,000 guarantee.  The tournament is structured with 12,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.  At the end of registration, players have the option to add-on, choosing between a single ($20) or double ($40).
