Tournaments: Today's tournament schedule begins (at 11:00am) with Event #8 of the Deepstack Charity Classic Tour, a $150 No Limit Hold'em "Galaxy Of Stars" Veterans Day event.  The tournament is structured with 15,000 unit starting stacks, (25) minute levels, and has registration that is open through Level 8. There are two additional ways to get chips, with a $20 "chip-up" prior to a players first hand (for 5,000 units), or a $20 add-on at the end of registration (for 10,000 units).

With the upcoming $200 No Limit Hold'em ($100,000 GTD) this week, there are two $45 No Limit Hold'em Satellites into said event (at 2:00pm and 6:00pm).

Promotions: The promotional calendar for Monday is focused strictly on high hands, which run from the moment the poker room opens (9:00am), to the moment the doors shut (3:00am).  The period from 9:00am-12:00am (midnight), will see $300 high hands awarded, every (30) minutes (using both hole cards).  If the high hand is made using one card, $150 will be awarded to that player (pending the hand is the qualifying winner).

ICYMI: Saturday's tournament schedule was dedicated to the Deepstack Charity Classic Tour, with incredible action throughout the entire day.  Things got started at 1:00pm, with Event #3 of the series, a $100 No Limit Hold'em tournament.  Registration closed with (44) entries in the field, and an official prize pool of $3,080.  Six places were scheduled to get paid, and after three in-the-money eliminations, a three-way chop was agreed to (with Fred Alesi taking home first place).  Official results from the tournament are listed below:

Not bad for an amateur poker player!!!

The final event of the day was Event #6 of the series, the $490 No Limit Hold'em "Sexton On The Beach."  Players in the tournament would be battling it out for a $15,000 PartyPoker prize package, with the winner heading to the Bahamas in a few weeks (for the PartyPoker Millions Main Event, which has a $10,000,000 guarantee).  A total of (35) entries made up the field, meaning there would be an extra $240 for second place.  Lyn Henderson (Sunrise, FL) bested Vincent Laino to win the title, and the coveted package!!!

Saturday, November 9th: Indrecible Day Of Action, With The Deepstack Charity Classic Tour In Full Swing, And Names Like Hellmuth, Sexton, And Chad In The Mix

ICYMI: Friday was the beginning of the Deepstack Charity Classic Tour, with Event #1 of the series getting underway at 1:00pm.  The $220 No Limit Hold'em event was dubbed the "Celebrity Bounty" tournament, hosted by Mike Sexton and Norman Chad.  The action was great throughout the event, and most importantly, everyone involved had a great time!!!  Registration for the event closed with (42) entries, and an official prize pool of $7,210.  Six players were scheduled to reach the money, but once play reached the money bubble, players agreed to a seven-way chop.  Details of the deal are listed below, with Justin Levy (Boynton Beach, FL) taking home first place money:

Tournaments: It is a full day of Deepstack Charity Classic events on the schedule, beginning at 11:00am, with a $110 No Limit Hold'em Satellite into "Sexton On The Beach," which is a $490 No Limit Hold'em tournament at 7:00pm this evening (with the winner getting a $15,000 PartyPoker package).  The first actual event of the day (non-satellite) is at 1:00pm, and is a $100 No Limit Hold'em tournament (Event #2 of the series).

Then we start to get into the meat of the Deepstack Charity Classic Tour, with Event #3 at 2:00pm.  The $195 H.O.R.S.E. tournament should be one of the more enjoyable events of the series, as players are offered free BBQ and Pabst Blue Ribbons (while supplies last, and for those over the legal drinking age).  The mix of Hold'em, Omaha 8B, Razz, Stud Hi, and Stud Hi/Lo is a special one, and attracts a very devoted crowd.

At 3:00pm, we have the largest buy-in event of the series, the $2,200 No Limit Hold'em "Beat The Brat" High Roller.  This tournament is hosted by Phil Hellmuth, which alone will draw players, along with the standard high roller crowd that always frequents these events.  

The final event of the night is Event #5 of the series, the $490 No Limit Hold'em "Sexton On the Beach."  This tournament may be the attractive of all on the schedule, considering that there is a $15,000 PartyPoker prize package to first place (into the upcoming PartyPoker Millions Main Event, hosted at the Baha Mar in Nassau, Baahamas).

ICYMI: Yesterday's tournament schedule was a dedicated satellite day for the Deepstack Charity Classic Tour, with opportunities for players to get into both "Beat The Brat" ($2,200 No Limit Hold'em High Roller), and "Sexton On the Beach" ($490 No Limit Hold'em, with a $15,000 PartyPoker package to the winner).  Both tournaments will be hosted tomorrow, with Phil Hellmuth's event running at 3:00pm, and Mike Sexton's at 7:00pm.  Many of the schedule guests will be arriving today, with the series to kick off at 8:00pm this evening (Celebrity Bounty Classic).
