As the day played out, and Sam Panzica (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) continued to outlast player after player, there was just a sense that he was a favorite to win. Coming off a two "major" wins, including a WPT this month, Sam would fall just a few spots short of that infamous "treble." Panzica would open from the button to 125,000, and after Gamino folded his small blind, Edward Novak would three-bet to 345,000.
