Monday, March 8th: Raminder Singh Finds Himself In The Mix For Player Of The Month Leaderboard, After Sunday Night Win!

ICYMI:  As the saying goes..."records are meant to be broken." After a weekend of strong showing (but nothing record breaking), Sunday's tournament decided to reach another milestone.  The $130 No Limit Hold'em ($3,000 GTD) event more than quadrupled the posted guarantee, after registration closed with a total of (142) players.  The $14,200 prize pool was scheduled to be paid out to (18) players, with some healthy numbers listed up top.  Action would continue through the evening, with things ending just after 10:00pm.  After the dust settled, Raminder Singh (Delray Beach, FL) and Celso Leroy (Delray Beach, FL) agreed to a heads-up chop, with Singh taking home first place money ($3,267).  Along with the money, Singh and Leroy earn valuable points towards the Player Of The Month leaderboard.  Official results from Sunday's tournament are listed below:

Tournaments: At 6:00pm this evening, the $250 No Limit Hold'em ($10,000 GTD) "Final Table Finish" is hosted for the second time.  It's not often that a new tournament variant is introduced, but this event is about as fresh and forward-thinking as they come, and players clearly were intrigued.  Last week's first-run attracted a total of (96) entries, and had a prize pool over $20,000!!!  First place was scheduled to take home over $8,000, but ended up taking just under $6,000 in a chop.

The event is structured with 20,000 chip starting stacks, (25) minute levels, and has open registration through Level 8 (and the break that follows).  The new wrinkle comes into play when discussing payouts, as the tournament will pay out just the final table, regardless of how many entries.  Exact payout percentages are as follows (final tables are now eight-handed):

ICYMI: With the recent success of daily tournament poker at the Isle Casino Pompano Park, a new event was bound to make it's way to the schedule.  The management team wanted to make a splash, but also wanted to bring a product that was fresh and forward thinking.  

Please welcome the newest daily tournament to the schedule...every Monday...at 6:00pm, a $250 No Limit Hold'em "Final Table Finish" ($10,000 GTD).  The event is structured with 20,000 chip starting stacks, (25) minute levels, and has open registration through Level 8 (and the break that follows).  The new wrinkle comes into play when discussing payouts, as the tournament will pay out just the final table, regardless of how many entries.  Exact payout percentages are as follows (final tables are now eight-handed):

Monday, February 15th: Tabares And Botabayev Chop The "Monster Stack," Capping Off A Special "Weekend Swing"

ICYMI: After Saturday night's record-breaking showing, one could only imagine was Sunday's event was going to bring.  The $130 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack" ($3,000 GTD) is another tournament that has been trending with players, and yesterday's numbers showed just that.  A total of (81) entries showed on the clock at registration's end, equating to an extremely healthy $8,100 prize pool.  Before we get to the results, it's important to point out one of the more attractive features of the event...it's a great payday, and you're likely home at a reasonable hour (for a work night).
