Event 1 (Day 2): Albertson Is The Early Boss

Event 1 ($150 Monster Stack NLH)
Level 17 (Blinds 3,000/6,000/500)
Total Entries: 1,142
Players Remaining: 112
Chip Average: 256,000 (42BB)

David Albertson (Coral Springs, FL)

As is common in large field events like this afternoon's, we've lost players at a rapid pace to start the day, almost at a rate of one per minute.  This will slow down as we reach the money bubble, which is still thirty eliminations away, but the tables seem to be breaking every few minutes right now.

One of the storylines to start the day was Mukul Pahuja bagging a top five stack (536,000), whose day hasn't gotten off to the start we would imagine he wanted, as he's down about 140,000 from the mark he started the day.  David Albertson was just one spot behind him to start the day (473,500), but has since increased his stack dramatically, now sitting with over 700,000. This has been a strong year for Albertson in regards to results, so this position is likely something he has become comfortable with.
