The rush to the podium to get paid has been fast and furious since the bubble burst, but John Freidkes (Parkland, FL) has been trending in the opposite direction.  Freidkes stopped by the media table during break to inform us that he had eclipsed the 1,000,000 mark, so his table was the first place we'd stop once play resumed.

Freidkes was continuing exactly where he left off, have turned a straight in a multi-way pot, eventually eliminating two of his table mates.  Freidkes is now over 1,200,000, and has amassed a chip stack to put him past Evan Teitelbaum, and on top of the chip counts.
