FSPC Main Event (Day 2): Jake Schwartz Eliminated By Couden

2017 Florida State Poker Championships
Event 20 - $1,500 No Limit Hold'em ($500,000 GTD)
Level 14 (Blinds 1,500/3,000/400)
Total Entries: 548
Players Remaining: 114/548

Joseph Couden (Blacklick, OH)

Action at Table 10 would fold around to Joseph Couden on the button, and with both players in the blinds fairly short, Couden would just open shove.  Jake Schwartz called out of the small blind, and after Kenneth Bruno folded his big, the two players would be racing.  Couden's 6♠ 6♣ would never relinquish the lead as the board ran out, besting Jake's A♠ K, an eliminating him from Day 2 play.

Couden chipped up to over 370,000, which is double chip the current chip average (144,000), and over (120) big blinds.  Joey would have to be considered a favorite in most any Isle Poker "major" event he enters, recording a trio of top three finishes over the past two years:

2015 Battles At The Beach $1,500 Main Event - 1st Place $154,672
2015 Isle Poker $1,500 Main Event - 3rd Place $90,000
2017 Battles At The Beach $1,500 Main Event - 2nd Place $120,000
