The (239) entries from the final flight brought the combined Event #20 number to (532), and equates to a prize pool of $718,200. Registration is still open until the cards are in the air for Day 2 (12:00pm), which means the prize pool and payouts will not be official until that point. While play will reach the money at some point today, the tournament can not be won on Day 2. Think of it more like "moving day" in golf, as players look to put themselves in the best position to win the tournament tomorrow. The structure for the day is very similar to the past three, with (12) scheduled levels, but now (60) minute levels the rest of the way out.
There will be (139) players returning to the field at 12:00pm, along with anyone else who decided to utilize the "Day 2 buy-in." Live coverage of the action will begin the moments are in the air, and will continue through the bagging process (just past midnight).
Tournaments: Outside of Event #20 (Day 2), there is one FSPC event on the schedule, the "players appreciation" event. This $570 buy-in tournament gets that name because there is no entry fee taken for the casino, making it a somewhat "rake-free" event. The tournament begins at 3:00pm, and sees players sitting down to starting stacks of 15,000 units, and levels that are (30) minutes in length.
Promotions: The weekend continues today with "turbo high hands" from 8:00am-9:00pm. The promotion is broken down into two periods, with $100 awarded every (10) minutes from the hours of 8:00am-2:00pm, followed by $300 awarded every (15) minutes from 2:00pm-9:00pm.
