George Boyadjian (Pompano Beach, FL)

George Boyadjian (Pompano Beach, FL) started the day with 80,000, which was just over half the chip average coming into Day 2.  Over the first hour play, George has turned that stack into 340,000, courtesy of Ana Clara Freitas.  The two players got it all-in on a flop of K♣ Q♠ 6, with Boyadjian holding K♠ Q♣, against Ana's A♠ A.  Although he was ahead, George was still at risk, and stood up to watch the runout (for a pot worth over 350,000).  The turn and river would run clean for Boyadjian, who immediately shot to the top ten of the leaderboard.  He'd drop down a little over the last twenty minutes, but still sits well over the current average of 190,000.

Freitas has had a roller coaster day to this, coming into Day 2 second in chips (444,500), but immediately found herself on the wrong end of some large pots.  She was able to stop the downslide, and has returned to the 400,000 chip mark.

Ana Clara Freitas - 400,000 (80bb)
George Boyadjian - 340,000 (68bb)
