Nigel Murray (Miami Gardens, FL)

Nigel Murray now has eyes on bagging the overall chip lead, after busting Jakub Paulik from Flight 1E play.  Recapping Paulik's last hand, we start on a 9 7♠ 3♠ flop, with Jakub leading for 7,000 (into a pot with over 14,000).  Murray had a 24,000 chip raise in front of him, which was the point when we caught up with the hand.  Murray had Paulik covered, and it seemed as if Jakub's decision was between going all-in, or folding (calling didn't seem like an option with only 43,000 effective).

Paulik eventually announced himself all-in, with Murray quickly making the call.  Jakub tabled K K♠, and needed to fade Murray's combo draw (holding J♠ 10♠).  The board paired with the 3 on the turn, and although Paulik's lead strengthened greatly with the card, his fate would be determined on the river (as the 8 fell).  Murray made the jack-high straight, and collected the pot, which brought him over 340,000.

Nigel Murray - 343,000
