"August $150,000" (Flight 1E): If At First You Succeed...You Can Always Try Again

"August $150,000 GTD"
$360 No Limit Hold'em (Re-Entry)
Level 4 (Blinds 100/200)
Total Flight 1E Entries: 50

Manny Perez (Miami, FL)

If followers of the blog look at the chip counts from Flight 1B, they will see the name Manny Perez, and the number 73,000 next to his name.  "Money Manny McEnroe" was successful in bagging chips for Day 2, but is looking to best that stack, and go into Sunday in a better position.  This tournament (as are most all of the multi-flight events at the Isle Poker Room) is a best stack forward event, meaning if someone bags more than once, their largest stack will be put into play on Day 2.

Manny is a business owner first...poker player second...having only started playing the game five months ago.  He has already made a name for himself up and down the coast, featured on numerous blogs during major series.  Perez has an unorthodox playing style, and a table presence unlike other tournament players.  Perez is the only player in the field who had a ticket to Day 2, but is joined in Flight 1E by other names like:

Zaki Lichaa
Nigel Murray
Jose Parra
Frank Scala
Alan Saltzman
David Gelley
Thomas Mucci
David Kahan

Players will be on their first break at end of this level, returning to Level 5, and new blinds of 150/300/25.
