"Single-Day Series:" Gambino Exits In Third Place ($17,250), Heads-Up Play About To Begin

$2,500 No Limit Hold'em
"Single-Day Series"
Level 21 (Blinds 25,000/50,000/50,000 Ante)
Total Entries: 75
Players Remaining: 2

AJ Gambino (Royersford, PA), who was not pictured, was the shortest of the three stacks returning from break.  Only a few hands in, Gambino would shove over an open from Ian O'Hara, with his all-in called.  AJ was behind, holding 10 8 against Ian's A♠ J, and would be drawing thin after the an A 7♠ 7♣ flop.  Gambino would be drawing dead on the turn, and would end up finishing in third place ($17,250).

The two players are taking a short break before heads-up play, with a discussion of chop going on at the moment.  That discussion lasted only a few minutes, with players deciding to continue on without a deal.  Posted below are the heads-up chip counts:

Ian O'Hara - 5,000,000
Joshua Hillock - 2,500,000
