Sunday, November 26th: Day 2 Players Of "November $100,000 II" Return At Noon, Live Coverage Commences

ICYMI: Saturday's tournament action started at 11:00am, as the cards start flying for Flight 1D of the "November $100,000 II."  A total of (141) entries made up the flight once the bagging process began, with (20) players booking tickets for Day 2.  Stephen Smith (Juno Beach, FL) was the flight's overwhelming chip leader, stuffing 476,000 into his Day 2 bag.  Joining Smith in this week's $340 Package Satellite (courtesy of the chip lead bonus) was James Crim, who bagged 292,500.  Some others names that successfully bagged Day 2 chips in the afternoon flight included Eddie Uehara (272,500), Dolphus Powers (188,500), David Ward (152,000), and Thomas Gari (103,000).

Flight 1E was the last chance for players to try and bag chips for the event, although not the final opportunity to join the action (as the Day 2 buy-in is an option as well).  The guarantee was surpassed about an hour into the evening's action, and after Level 15 concluded, a total of (17) players remained to bag chips.  The flight was led by Changfei Cui (300,500), who was joined by David Maslowski (247,500), as winners of the chip lead bonus.  Other players to bag from the flight included Eric Becks (231,000), Juan Rodriguez (180,000), and Joseph Duchman (118,500).

After five opening flights, the "November $100,000 II" attracted a total of (566) entries, with (74) players returning for today's Day 2.  The current prize pool is $113,200, but can still grow larger, as registration is open until 12:00pm.

Tournaments: At 12:00pm, the players to have bagged chips over the last three days will return for Day 2 of the "November $100,000 II."  Registration for the $250 No Limit Hold'em event is open until the first cards are in the air for Level 16 (12:00pm), with the official payouts to be released shortly thereafter.  Day 2 levels will last (30) minutes, with action scheduled to play down to a winner.  Live coverage of the tournament picks up shortly after play begins, and will update followers throughout the afternoon into evening.

There is another tournament on the daily schedule, as the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Hard Stop, ICM Chop" ($2,500 GTD) gets underway at 6:00pm.  Players in the tournament sit down to starting stacks of 20,000 units, with (20) minute levels...but there is a little wrinkle towards the end of the night.  After Level 16, the clock will be paused, and (10) final hands will be played.  Once those hands have finished, those players still left will split the prize pool (according to ICM calculations).  Leading up to the ICM chop portion of the tournament, the payouts do occur as scheduled, just like every other tournament on the schedule.  The upside to this event, is the fact that players can be assured that they will be out the door just after midnight...if players don't decide to chop on their own before that.

Promotions: From (9:00am-10:00am), the high hand will award $150 every (30) minutes.  The high hands will then transition from 10:00am-12:00am (midnight), with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes.  During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible (Isle Open events not eligible for high hand) each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.  From 12:00am-9:00am, players are eligible for $100 high hands every hour.

It should also be noted that starting November 1st, players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand!!!  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).
