The $2,500 No Limit Hold'em Single-Ante ($100,000 GTD) is underway, with action now spread across two tables (13 total entries in Level 1). One of those entries is Brian Hastings (Ft. Lauderdale, FL), a well known poker pro with over $2,600,000 in live tournament earnings (and countless more online). Not as well known is his fiancé, Sonya Bubulka (Ft. Lauderdale, FL), who just jumped in the Flight 1C field.
We've seen Sonya watching Brian at final tables in the past, but this is the first we are seeing her in action. She does have one recorded tournament result on Hendon Mob, coming back in 2015, during the WSOP Europe ($550 No Limit Hold'em). This opening flight ends just after registration closes for the $2,500 Single-Ante, so Bubulka hopes to bag up some chips for Sunday, and then watch her fiancé ship himself a tournament.
