Two levels remain in this third starting flight, and it's Demoy Thomas (Port St. Lucie, FL) running away with the chip lead. Demoy already has over 300,000, which is more than the overall chip leader to this point (David Poces - 305,000). This is seemingly uncharted territory for Thomas, who has just one recorded cash on his resume, coming just a month ago during the Isle Classic (December). There is still an hour remaining of play in the day, but returning to a top five stack (and potential deep run) is an experience that Thomas has not encountered before. It will be interesting to see how he handles these final stages of the flight, as it could directly effect the outcome that follows on Sunday.
