Loni Harwood (Staten Island, NY) continues her good form, but is still looking for her highlighting score at the Isle Poker Room, during one of these major series. |
With the second shortest stack at the table, Loni Harwood (Staten Island, NY) shoved (for just over 14 big blinds) after action folded to her on the button. Uri Kadosh released his hand, and Jake Schwartz called out of the big blind:
Harwood: 6♠ 6♣
Schwartz: K♦ Q♣
Runout: 10♠ J♣ 2♥ 9♠ 6♣
Jake flopped huge against Loni's hand, and left her drawing dead on the turn. She got the max-needle on the river, making a set that would be no good. She did leave the table in good spirits though, and went to collect her 9th place money ($11,499).
