The pace of play continues to occur at a rapid pace, as Frederico Dabus (Doral, FL) goes from 1,200,000 to bust in a matter of three critical hands. Dabus first lost close to 600,000 to Mike Morton, when he ran pocket jacks into Morton's pocket kings. A few hands later, he would get it in with A♠ K♣ against the 4♠ 4♥ of Marshall White, only to see Marshall flop a set. Moments after that, Dabus would be all-in and at risk with Q♥ Q♦, against the A♠ J♠ of Daniel Genachte. Once again, the cards were unkind to Dabus, who watched Genacthe flop an ace, and eliminate him from the tournament.
A very cruel reminder about the absolute roller-coaster that tournament poker it...as Dabus goes from above chip average, to our 14th place finisher ($8,088).
