Chris Lawson (Livingston, TX) travels across the country playing poker tournaments, but now has an affinity for the Isle Poker Room, as grabbing his largest cash here at the end of last year. Lawson bested a field of (679) entries to take down the $360 No Limit Hold'em ($200,000 GTD) event during the 2017 Isle Classic. Chris held a commanding lead at the event's final table, and ended up receiving first place money in a five-way deal. The $26,293 score still stands as his best results, and after cashing in the WSOP Circuit Main Event at Tulsa just a few weeks ago, Lawson is back in action at the Isle.
