This is officially a "special" event, as the posted prize pool for the $175 No Limit Hold'em ($100,000 GTD) has already been surpassed, with today's pair of flights yet to have gotten underway. To this point in the tournament, there have been (862) entries, with (105) players successfully bagging chips for tomorrow's Day 2. The prize pool entering today's action is $113,784, with today's flights expected to attract the largest fields we've seen all week.
Today's flights carry the same structure as those that came before, with starting stacks of 18,000 units, and levels that will last (25) minutes over the course of the event. Registration is open through Level 8 (and the break that follows), with the day scheduled to end at the conclusion of Level 16 (or if the 10% mark is reached). Players that successfully bag chips for Day 2 will be returning this Sunday, with action resuming at 12:00pm. The chip lead bonus is also back (as we just mentioned), with the top stack from each starting flight, earning a seat into next week's $1,100 No Limit Hold'em Single-Ante ($200,000 GTD).
