Isle Open Event #1 (Flight 1C): Matthew Bretzfield Looking For Sixth Straight Final Table Finish

2018 Isle Open | Event #1
$200 No Limit Hold'em ($100,000 GTD)
Level 7 (Blinds 300/600/600)
Total Flight 1C Entries: 67

It's been an insane two months of tournaments for Matthew Bretzfield (Kings Park, NY), who has earned over $125,000 in that short period of time.

Matthew Bretzfield's (Kings Park, NY) incredible run started back in August, when he turned a satellite entry for the $5,250 No Limit Hold'em SHRPO Championship Event, into a 10th place finish worth $62,415.  The cash was his largest by far, as Matthew didn't have a five-figure score before that point. That score would just be the beginning for Bretzfield, who then went on to earn another five-figure score, in the opening event of the Card Player Poker Tour (hosted here at the Isle Casino Pompano Park).  Matthew's second place share of the deal in the $360 No Limit Hold'em event was worth $22,374, and it seemed as if nothing could top that two week span.  That would be until Event #8 of that same Card Player Poker Tour series, when he took first place honors in the $1,100 No Limit Hold'em Main Event, taking home $35,443 for his efforts.

Bretzfield went on to cash in two more events since the CPPT results, both of which were final table finishes (one during the WSOP Circuit at Coconut Creek).  Matthew has cashed for over $125,000 in the last two months, and has to be considered a favorite to make a deep run in this opening event of the Isle Open.
