Two down...one to go, as the final starting day of the 2018 Isle Open Main Event is now in play. After a blazing start on Friday, the numbers for Day 1B dipped down a little, but we are expecting the graph to trend upwards today. To this point in the Main Event, there have been (132) entries, with (49) players already having booked their tickets to tomorrow's Day 2. The current prize pool of $178,200 is more than half of the way towards the event's posted guarantee ($300,000), which will likely be surpassed at some point today. In the case that is doesn't, registration is still open tomorrow (Day 2), through the first three levels of the day.
While we allow the tournament area to fill up, an official listing of Day 2 chip counts will be posted (from Day 1A and Day 1B), followed by a first look at notables in today's field.
