Sunday, October 21st: Ready To Crown An Event #6 Champion, As Day 2 Resumes At 12:00PM

ICYMI: As expected, yesterday's pair of Event #6 flight drew the largest crowds, with Flight 1G and Flight 1H attracting a combined total of (197) entries.  From that total, (20) players successfully bagged chips for today's Day 2.  We saw Steven Bennet bag the overall Day 2 chip lead, stuffing 563,000 into his bag, during the Flight 1G bagging process.  Erik Nomberg packed away 450,000 at the end of Flight 1H, which is good for the fifth largest stack overall, when play resumes this afternoon.

Event #6 will resume at 12:00pm this afternoon, as the (59) Day 2 players look to earn their share of the $162,600 prize pool.  While those that min-cash in the event will earn $790, all eyes are on the $33,830 that's up top.  The top four payouts are all scheduled to earn five-figure scores, so it will be interesting to see how things play out towards the end of the tournament.

Tournaments: At 12:00pm, the (59) players that bagged chips for the Event #6 ($360 No Limit Hold'em $100,000 GTD) Day 2 will return, ready to play down to a winner.  Action will resume in Level 12 (blinds 1,000/2,000/2,000), which was the point that Flight 1B stopped for the night (as the field reached the 10% mark).  Day 2 levels will last (40) minutes, staying that way through the conclusion of the tournament.

The Isle Open schedule continues in the evening, with Event #7 ($130 No Limit Hold'em "Turbo Bounty" $5,000 GTD) getting underway at 6:00pm.  The tournament is structured with 20,000 unit starting stacks, (15) minute levels, and registration that's open through Level 10 (and the break that follows).  There is a $25 bounty for each player elimination, which is included in the prize pool, and counts towards the guarantee.

Promotions: The high hand period runs from 10:00am-12:00am, with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes.  During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.  From 12:00am-3:00am, players are eligible for $100 high hands every hour.

It should also be noted that players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand.  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).
