Saturday, February 20th: Another Strong Friday Night, With Train To "Value Town" Ready To Board At 6:00PM

ICYMI: Friday night's $150 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) is known as the headliner of the "Weekend Swing," and even with numerous events going on across the South Florida poker community, last night's tournament more than doubled the posted guarantee.  The registration period closed with a total of (99) entries, and an official prize pool of $11,385.  Players would compete to find themselves in the top thirteen, looking to take home respective shares of the prize pool.  The seats at the final table were emptying one-by-one, and it wasn't until heads-up play was reached, that a deal was made.  Those that were part of the deal (Jeremy Ehrke, Darkhan Botabayev), are names that have been really crushing since the re-opening.  Official results from the tournament are listed below:

Monday, February 15th: Tabares And Botabayev Chop The "Monster Stack," Capping Off A Special "Weekend Swing"

ICYMI: After Saturday night's record-breaking showing, one could only imagine was Sunday's event was going to bring.  The $130 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack" ($3,000 GTD) is another tournament that has been trending with players, and yesterday's numbers showed just that.  A total of (81) entries showed on the clock at registration's end, equating to an extremely healthy $8,100 prize pool.  Before we get to the results, it's important to point out one of the more attractive features of the event...it's a great payday, and you're likely home at a reasonable hour (for a work night).

Sunday, February 7th: Should Breaking Records Even Be A Surprise Anymore...Tournaments At The Isle Are Crushing!

ICYMI: Saturday's tournament had been known as the best value event on the weekly schedule, offering up sizable prize pools for a $100 buy-in.  For a span of a few months, the tournament carried a $3,000 guarantee, and consistently surpassed that number.  The poker room management team recognized that, and decided to make things even more attractive...making the guarantee $5,000.  

The players took note of that change, and showed up stronger than ever before, to the tune of (121) entries (which equated to a $9,075 prize pool).  Sixteen players would eventually reach the money, with action playing down to a five-handed final table, when a chop would be agreed to.  Matthew Chrissy (Lighthouse Point, FL) took home first place money in the deal ($1,633), with full results from the tournament listed below:

Saturday, February 6th: Friday's Tournament Attract Record-Breaking Numbers, With Tonight's Tournament Getting A "Guarantee" Boost!

ICYMI: We frequently mention how popular all of the weekly tournaments are becoming, but Friday night's $150 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD), has firmly held the title of "headliner."  Last night's installment attracted a total of (111) entries, and an official prize pool of $12,765.  That's one of the best turnouts we've seen, with (14) players lucky enough to grab their share of the prize pool.  With the payouts as healthy as they were, players at the final table weren't too quick to agree to a deal.  It wasn't until heads-up play was reached, that a chop a finalized.  Antanael Thomas (Palm Springs, FL) took home first place money in the deal, which was worth $3,194.  Official results from last night's event are listed below:

Monday, February 1st: After Recording Numerous Final Table Results, Anthony Casas Tops Sunday's "Monster Stack" Five-Way Chop

ICYMI: These "Weekend Swing" tournaments have been so successful, that it's rare to any of them reach a milestone that hasn't been attained prior...but yesterday's "Monster Stack" did just that.  The $130 No Limit Hold'em ($3,000 GTD) attracted a total of (101) entries, eclipsing the century mark for the first time since the re-opening of the poker room.  The $10,100 prize pool more than tripled the guaranteed number, with a total of (13) players reaching the money in the event.  Just like the Saturday's tournament the night before, the action ended in a five-way deal.  Official results from the tournament are listed below:
