ICYMI: Monday's $250 No Limit Hold'em "Final Table Finish" ($10,000 GTD) has peaked player's interest for different reasons, one of which is the healthy payouts offered each week. If the tournament is played down to an outright winner, we are looking at a first place prize north of $15,000 (which is unheard of in a single-day recurring tournament). When the tournament is chopped, like it was last night, there is the ability for everyone involved to walk away with nice scores.
Yesterday's tournament saw registration close with (183) entries, and an official prize pool of $38,430. Once the final table bubble burst (which was also the money bubble), the remaining players agreed to a chop, with the official details of the deal listed below:

Friday, July 2nd: July Tournament Schedule Starts With Record Breaking Field, As Race For Player Of The Month Resets Once Again!!!
ICYMI: When this past Monday's $250 No Limit Hold'em "Final Table Finish" ($10,000 GTD) had a record-breaking field, it looks like it was just a sign of things to come. First up on the July tournament scheduled, was the $150 No Limit Hold'em "Double Green Chip Bounty" ($5,000 GTD). With just over half of the buy-in going towards the prize pool (one-third goes to bounties), the idea of eclipsing $10,000 seemed to be a stretch. We had seen Thursday events come close to that number, but last night's installment had a prize pool that finally eclipsed the five-figures.
Registration for the event closed with a total of (172) players, and had an official prize pool of $11,180. A total of (22) players would earn a piece of the prize pool, with the evening's action ending in a seven-way deal. Isle Casino Pompano Park tournament veteran Robert Leff took home first place money in the deal, and quickly goes to the top of the monthly leaderboard. Official results from the tournament are listed below:
- Robert Leff (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $1,367
- Marc Roth (Plantation, FL) $1,364

Tuesday, June 29th: Andre Bryan Tops Record "Final Table Finish" Field, Deonarine Itwaru Wins June's Player of the Month!!!
ICYMI: Players in the South Florida poker community already knew how good the $250 No Limit Hold'em "Final Table Finish" ($10,000 GTD) was, but last night the event went to new heights. The tournament attracted a record breaking field of (190) entries, and had an official prize pool of $39,900. Those numbers meant that first place was scheduled to walk away with over $15,000, a number just unheard of, for a recurring tournament.
With the payouts so top heavy, it was no surprise to see the tournament conclude in a multi-way chop, with the top six players all walking away with over $4,099. Andre Bryan took home the lion's share of the chop, earning $9,353 for first place. The leaderboard points that came along with the finish were significant, but not enough to see him crack the top ten. Official results from last night's event are listed below:

ICYMI: With just three tournaments remaining in the month, last night's $100 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) was scheduled to player an important role in the outcome of the Player of the Month race. Registration for the event closed with a total of (158) entries and an official prize pool of $11,850. Of those in the tournament, (21) players would reach the money, and earn those valuable leaderboard points. The event ended in a six-way chop, with new names making up the list to agree to the deal. While there would be no shift in the top ten of the leaderboard, those involved in the chop can now be considered "in the race" (as Monday's tournament offers the largest point distribution of any tournament on the schedule).
