A handful of players busted in succession to start the day, but then things slowed down for (10) minutes. After another four eliminations though, play entered hand-for-hand, with the bubble to burst just moments ago. Some of the group to fall short of the money included Zack Kadel, Luis Guarda, Calixto Rodriguez, Abraham Gross, Eric West, Larry Stoddard, and Joe Basso.
Trending in the right direction since the noon restart was Raminder Singh (Delray Beach, FL), who three-bet shoved over a raise from one of the chip leaders (Lisa Teebagy). After two limpers released their hands, Lisa called quickly, and saw her 3♦ 3♥ dominated by Singh's K♠ K♣. The board would run out 4♦ 6♠ A♣ 2♦ 6♥, and Raminder would earn the double (to over 300,000).
