Total Entries: 1,126

James Orphanos (Boca Raton, FL)

With most of the tables finished across the field (hand-for-hand), action was still pending at Table 8, in a hand between Joseph Couden and James Orphanos.  Couden was all-in pre for 84,500, and just as the table was approached, Orphanos could be heard verbalizing a call.

"I call...I'm just bored," James said to Couden as he put the chips on the felt.  Couden then turned over A 7, up against the 9 9♠ or Orphanos.  Joseph wouldn't flop any pairs, but he did gain extra outs with the K 8♠ Q flop.  Three of Couden's outs were taken away after the 9 on the turn, and after the 5♠ completed the board on the river, Joseph would end up the tournament's "bubble boy."

The rest of the field is now in the money, with everyone remaining earning at least $172.  Everyone's eyes are on the top prize though, which sees the eventual winner taking home $21,782 (unless there is a chop).
