Isle Open Championship (Day 1C): Turyansky Looking For The Tournament "Treble"

2017 Isle Open | Event #21
$1,500 No Limit Hold'em Isle Open Championship| $500,000 GTD
Level 5 (Blinds 200/400/50)
Total Day 1C Entries: 137

Alex Turyansky (Saarbrucken, Germany) has back-to-back wins on his Hendon Mob resume (last two results), and is looking to add a third this Monday.

Just like Dominique Mosley earlier, Alex Turyansky (Saarbrucken, Germany) is a player who is very particular about what tournaments he plays.  Considering the wins that could be had in a game like 10/25 NLH (and higher), certain tournaments just don't offer a return like that.  Turyansky has played a couple of tournaments recently though, both of which he ended up winning.  Alex shipped the $10,000 No Limit Hold'em (Event #17) during the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open ($334,176), and followed that up with an Isle Open title in the $2,500 No Limit Hold'em (Single-Day) event just last week ($46,139).

Alex joined this Day 1C field during the last level, and joins a large group of late arriving players to the tournament:

Al Gomez
Greg Lehn
Rafael Reis
Brandon Ageloff
Robert Jonsson
Evan Teitelbaum
Richard Rice
Erik Nomberg
Richard Leger
Henry Meacham
James Brinkley
Samuel Ganzfried
Maury Barrett
Erik Christensen
Robert Transue

Players are about to head on their second break of the day (at the end of this level), returning to Level 5, and new blinds of 250/500/50 (36,600 chip average).  There will then be two more levels played, before those still remaining head on an hour long dinner break.
