Event #1 live blogged coverage was cut short two weeks ago, with the usual Day 2 detailed coverage taking a back seat to "live results." Because of that, the players that made a deep run, and eventually reached the final table, missed out on their blog notoriety. One of those players to reach the final table was Frank Scala (Boca Raton, FL), a tournament veteran who earned himself a career best cash. Scala was part of a five-way deal that was made, taking home $10,578 for fourth place money. The results brought his lifetime earnings above $50,000, and also helps Frank sit down with a renewed confidence in this event (if he even needed it). Scala already has a deep run in a Isle Poker $1,500 Championship Event, falling just short of the 2017 Isle Classic (December) $1,500 No Limit Hold'em final table (12th Place - $10,578).
Frank is seated at Table 3, and is joined by the likes of Brian Hastings, Joshua Hillock, and Michael Graffeo...all accomplished tournament players in their own right. The field itself has almost doubled since the last published post, with the following players joining the action:
