"You missed a big one," Nancy Thomas said, after getting the blogger's attention. There was an empty seat that was once occupied by Scott Zakheim, with Thomas about to detail his departure. Nancy opened with A♠ 8♣ from late position, and got calls from both Sheldon Gross and Scott Zakheim. The dealer fanned out a flop of A♦ K♦ 8♠, with Gross and Zakheim checking to Nancy, who chose to continue (sizing was unclear). Scott would call after Sheldon folded, and then led after the 5♠ on the turn, with Nancy making the call. Zakheim then shipped it all-in (for just over twenty bigs) after the 7♠ on the river, and would be called by Thomas, who still held top-two. Nancy's A♠ 8♣ would be good after Scott tabled K♠ 8♥, having also flopped two-pair. Zakheim quickly walked to the cage, and is now back in the field...and back at the same table he just exited from.
