Steven Legault was begging for his hand to hold when the cards went on their backs, with the dealer obliging on the turn and river. |
When we heard an all-in and a call at the final table, nobody would have guessed that it would be between the two largest stacks. On a flop of Q♦ 10♠ 9♠, Steve Legault and David Coughlin got it in, for a pot worth over 7,000,000. Legault held K♥ J♠, having flopped the straight, up against the Q♣ 9♣ of Coughlin (top and bottom pair). The turn and river would not bring Coughlin the full house, and Legault would vault into the final table chip lead.
Steve Legault - 7,400,000
David Coughlin - 3,800,000
