After Christian Sylvester shoved for 600,000, Joaquin Sosa re-shoved for just over 1,000,000. Action was then on David Coughlin, who was the tournament's overwhelming chip leader, having just knocked out Francis Margaglione in a massive pot (over 2,000,000). Coughlin tanked for just a few moments, and then verbalized a call, putting both players at risk:

Players were calling for cards left and right, as a crowd began to build around the table. Coughlin flopped the spade draw, which he would hit on the turn. Sylvester would earn 10th place money ($2,250), while Sosa would get 9th place ($2,760), because of the larger stack to start the hand.
