FSPC Event #1 (Day 2): Running Late Is As Urgent When You're Returning To Heaps

2018 Florida State Poker Championship
Event #1 | $175 No Limit Hold'em | $100,000 GTD
Level 16 (Blinds 2,500/5,000/5,000)
Total Entries: 1,227
Players Remaining: 133

Daniel Pearlman (Hollywood, FL) had to deal with a schedule conflict to start Day 2, but arrived with fifteen minutes remaining in Level 16.

The final player to arrive for Day 2 actually happened to be the overall chip leader, as Daniel Pearlman (Hollywood, FL) got stuck at a doctors appointment.  Luckily, his 470,000 stack didn't take to much of a hit over the first thirty minutes of Day 2 play, blinding away just over 25,000 before he arrived.  Pearlman is well known for his runner-up finish in the WSOP Circuit Main Event at Cherokee (last year), which was worth a career best $196,809.  His last cash came during this event ($175 No Limit Hold'em $100,000 GTD) in May, when he finished in 56th place for $430.  Pearlman's sights are set much higher this afternoon, but he has some stiff competition at his table, having to deal with the other big stacks of Steve Legault and Jeanocson Dalcy.

Daniel Pearlman - 445,000 (89bb)
