FSPC Event #1 (Flight 1G): Dolline Willis Had One Foot Out The Door, But Sticks Around

2018 Florida State Poker Championship
Event #1 | $175 No Limit Hold'em | $100,000 GTD
Level 6 (Blinds 300/500/500)
Total Flight 1G Entries: 150

Dolline Willis was unsuccessful in bagging chips during yesterday afternoon's flight (Flight 1E), but tweeted her arrival once again today, which included a motivating quote.  Things didn't quite start the way she wanted though, as she just shoved her 1,900 stack (from the small blind), after the button raised to 900.  Two players that had already limped called her 1,900 all-in, with the original raiser then four-betting to 9,000.  Willis got some protection there, as the four-bet cleared out the field, leaving her Q 9 against the button's J♠ J♣.  The flop and turn brought no help to Dolline's hand, but she would spike a queen on the river, to gain new life in the flight.

After starting the hand with 1,900, she'd come out of things with 8,000, which is pretty unbelievable, considering the circumstances that needed to unfold to make that happen.

Dolline Willis - 8,200 (16bb)
