Johnny Chan (Las Vegas, NV) is seeing a little run good to start his day, rivering an opponent...and then getting max-value out of the hand.

Passing by Table 11, we'd see Christopher Brown heads-up with Johnny Chan, with the two staring down at a board of K♥ 2♠ 3♣ 2♣ J♥.  Brown checked to Chan, who fired out a pot sized bet of 10,000. with Christopher quickly making the call.  Johnny rolled over K♠ J♠, as Brown reacted by slamming down his A♦ K♦ on the felt.  Brown would be eliminated just four hands later, but he can always take away the story that Johnny Chan took him to value-town.  Chan is now up to 54,000, and on his way towards doubling the day's 30,000 starting stack.
