After quick start the day, Johnny Chan returned from dinner with a stack that was less than ten big blinds. On one of the final hands of Level 6, Chan would be all-in for 6,300, and called by Eric Polirer:
Polirer: K♠ 10♠
Chan: A♠ 4♠
Runout: Q♥ 2♦ 8♦ 9♠ J♠
Having the spades covered going in, Chan would become a big favorite on the turn, but the turn and river would bring Polirer a straight. Johnny would collect his things and exit the table, with his return to the field still in question.
