FSPC Event #4 (Flight 1B): Jose Silva Eliminated On The Money Bubble, Now Playing Down To (7)

2018 Florida State Poker Championship
Event #4 | $360 No Limit Hold'em | $200,000 GTD
Level 15 (Blinds 2,000/4,000/4,000)
Total Flight 1B Entries: 124
Flight 1B Players Remaining: 16

Francis Margaglione (Davie, FL) has been trending in the right direction, and now leads the field after the elimination of Jose Silva.

Jose Silva was the shortest of the remaining stacks, sitting with just over five big blinds.  He wasn't able to play his big blind, even after posting close to thirty percent of his stack (between the big blind and ante).  When he was in the small, Fred White would limp, with action folding around to Silva, who would go all-in for 21,000.  Francis Margaglione called out of the big blind, as did White, and they then proceeded to check down the K♠ 6♠ 2♣ 10♣ 3♠ runout.

"Ace-high," Silva announced, as he tabled his hand (A♠ Q).  Margaglione would then roll over 7 6, having flopped a pair, which would end up good enough to win the pot.  Silva exited the table as the flight's "bubble boy," with the rest of the field guaranteed to either cash...or bag (even though bagging is technically cashing as well).

Francis Margaglione - 380,000 (95bb)
