FSPC Event #9 (Flight 1C): Third Event #9 Flight About To Begin, With Big Numbers Expected Over The Next (48) Hours

2018 Florida State Poker Championship
Event #9 | $1,100 No Limit Hold'em | $200,000 GTD
Level 1 (Blinds 100/100)
Total Flight 1C Entries: N/A

Two Event #9 ($1,100 No Limit Hold'em $200,000 GTD) are now in the books, with two remaining to be played...one of which is about to get underway.  Players are taking their seats in the tournament area at a rapid pace, with today and tomorrow's flights expected to be much larger than the two that came before.

To this point in the tournament, there have been a total of (115) entries, with (26) players bagging chips for Monday's Day 2.  Alan Ramkhalawn bagged the Flight 1A chip lead (427,000), which is becoming more impressive as time passes, considering the Flight 1B chip leader (Tom Gity) bagged 270,500.  Both players have earned a seat into next week's Florida State Poker Championship Main Event ($1,500 No Limit Hold'em $500,000 GTD), with two more seats to be awarded over the next (48) hours.

Today's structure stays the same as the pair of flights to have been completed, with players sitting down to starting stacks of 30,000 units.  Levels over the course of Flight 1C will last (40) minutes, and will eventually transition, moving to (50) minutes on Day 2.  Registration is open throughout the afternoon/evening, and will stay open on Day 2 (until the first hand of the day is dealt, at 12:00pm).

Live blogged coverage will begin with the official chip counts to this point, with the focus then shifting to play at the tables (and players in the field).
