FSPC Event #9 (Flight 1C): The Trend Of New Notables Continues, As Ronit Chamani Looks To Continue Solid Summer

2018 Florida State Poker Championship
Event #9 | $1,100 No Limit Hold'em | $200,000 GTD
Level 4 (Blinds 200/300/300)
Total Flight 1C Entries: 53

Ronit Chamani (Las Vegas, NV) doesn't frequent many events here at the Isle Poker Room, but does have history during this particular series.

With the Florida State Poker Championship coming up next week, it's no surprise that we are seeing a crop of new players in this opening flight of Event #9.  It's been almost six years since Ronit Chamani (Las Vegas, NV) has cashed at an event here at the Isle Casino Pompano Park, but she's currently seated at Table 6, hoping to put herself in position to change that.

Chamani is a well-traveled tournament professional, with over $648,000 in career earnings.  She had her breakout in 2014, a year in which she amassed tournament earnings of $256,402.  Ronit's highlighting score came during the WPT Bay 101 series, when she would ship the $2,000 No Limit Hold'em Shooting Starts event, for just over $152,000.  Chamani is coming off a solid summer, in which she recorded four cashes (two WSOP events), totaling over $16,000 in combined cashes.  As mentioned earlier, Ronit's last Isle Poker tournament score came in 2012, when she final tabled the $1,600 No Limit Hold'em Bounty event (8th place for $3,932).

Continuing the list of notables in the Flight 1C field, we have seen:

Francis Margaglione (Event #4 trophy winner)
Kenneth Bruno
Sheldon Gross
Jose Parra
Nissim Gozlan
Michael Marks
Richard Leger
Jose Ordonez
David Tiderman
Ory Hen
